Shinin & Grindin Spoiled by Wet n Wild • Jewelry Heist I wanted to do a post on a couple of the “Spoiled” glitter polishes, but I’ve been working a lot recently, so I’ll have to do them separately. I discovered the solution to a problem that comes up when photographing glitter polish. Natural light makes all the difference! I took this pic outside on a sunny day and it looks exactly as it does in person. It’s kind of a revelation.

Dollar Tree sells packs of nail files for a buck, and they are more than worth it. A single package includes 36 files with assorted shapes and textures. Most importantly, they are not flimsy; they hold up well to hardcore filing. It took only a few seconds to file my hard, square acrylic nails down to an oval shape. And they even fit in the plastic container that my Migi Pen set came in… perfect.
